ITM Communications

Background

In December 2022, Aliter acquired ITM Communications, an integrated technologies specialist that works across IT network infrastructure, with a focus on cabled and wireless network connectivity, converged IP, and site technical services.

The platform’s strategy is to develop a market leading Group which has a solution-based, end-to-end offering across IT managed services, IoT (Internet of Things) and network infrastructure services, with an objective to build a UK wide business serving both enterprise and public sector clients.

How we’ve helped

Following our initial investment, we supported the acquisition of Bates IT in to the same group to work alongside ITM.Bates IT operates across the UK, delivering a wide range of ICT managed and support services to critical UK ICT infrastructure, with a core focus on customers in the private and public healthcare sector.

Strategy

Operate across range of sectors and end-markets, with potential expansion into areas such as internet of things and wider IT managed services.

Grow from a regional network infrastructure provider to a multi-regional smart integrated solutions provider and create a broad and diversified customer base across both the public and private sector.

To continue organic growth in core network infrastructure offerings, with development of the business selectively in both the UK and potentially key international markets.

Aliter will use established networks and expertise to support organic growth and inorganic growth through the acquisition of additional, complementary businesses.
